  • Props & Styling: Possible additions such as flowing fabric extensions, wind effects (fan), or smoke for atmosphere.

Outcome

#6 Maternity Portfolio Shoots

When? April/May 2026

Maternity Portfolio Portfolio Growth
Maternity Portfolio Portfolio Growth
Maternity Portfolio Portfolio Growth

*** Image for example only but to give a feel for concept

Concept:

This is a creative maternity shoot designed to celebrate that incredible moment just before everything changes — where strength, femininity, and anticipation all come together.

The concept is simple: high-end beauty, set against the raw, natural textures of woodland and riverside locations around Thetford. Think rich tones, soft movement, and just enough drama to elevate the scene without losing that natural, grounded feel.

We’ll blend fashion-inspired portraiture with a more organic outdoor setting — using light, colour, and carefully chosen angles to create something that feels both powerful and elegant. This isn’t about stiff posing. It’s about capturing confidence, presence, and that unmistakable glow in a way that feels effortless.

What We’re Creating

The goal is to build a small, refined set of maternity beauty images — the kind you’d expect to see in a magazine, but still personal and authentic. Flowing fabrics, flattering light, and a focus on detail will help shape a collection that feels polished without being overdone.

Who This Is For

I’m looking for up to 4 mums-to-be in the final couple of months of pregnancy who’s open to something a little more styled and creative. You don’t need modelling experience — just a willingness to trust the process and enjoy the moment.

The Shoot

  • Location: Woodland / riverside areas around Thetford, Mundford area
  • Timing: Weather-dependent (we’ll plan it right)
  • Duration: Around 2 hours

What You’ll Receive

  • Around 10 fully edited, high-resolution images
  • Web-ready versions for sharing
  • Optional behind-the-scenes moments

Cost

There’s no cost involved — this is a collaborative portfolio shoot.

If you’ve been thinking about capturing this chapter in a way that feels a bit different… this might be exactly that.

I’m always happy to welcome people into the studio on a TFP (Time for Prints (or Time for Pictures)) basis if they connect with my style and want to create something we’re both proud to showcase in our portfolios.

For me, TFP (Time for Prints (or Time for Pictures)) is a genuine collaboration. I bring my time, the studio space, and all the editing work. In return, the model brings their time, skills, and travel. When we both put something in, we both walk away with images that truly reflect our shared creativity.

I’m not here to shoot purely for my own gain. What excites me is working alongside like-minded creatives, bouncing ideas around, and building something that feels fresh, artistic, and worthwhile for everyone involved.

If you have a concept in mind — especially something a bit artistic, expressive, or out of the ordinary — I’d love to hear it. As long as it fits the overall feel of my portfolio, I’m always open to exploring new project ideas together.
