I was always the arty kid at school — the one happily losing hours to detailed drawings and paintings. When I went on to art college, I met the photography students and quickly fell in love with what they were doing. Sadly, I couldn’t afford the course at the time… but the spark had been lit. Once I started working, I discovered the real joy of capturing moments on film, and photography became a passion I couldn’t shake.

My career began in graphic design around 1990 and grew into senior design, management, and project roles for national events and exhibitions — including projects for RHS Flower Show gardens and other large-scale showcases. Photography, however, was the constant thread running quietly alongside it all, a love I carried with me from college days.

Much later, after corporate life started to feel a little too… corporate, I reached a life-altering fork in the road. I chose photography — and I’ve never looked back. There’s genuinely nothing more rewarding than delivering a gallery to a couple and seeing their reactions to the moments I’ve captured for them.

On your wedding day, my aim is simple: to be as unobtrusive as possible. This is your day. Weddings shouldn’t feel formulaic or repeated — every couple, every story, every celebration is different, and your photography should reflect that.
